Linux: Kernel 2.16.24-17 and Virtualbox

Well, I suppose this is as good a place to start as any with my updated postings. I tried to start Virtualbox this morning for the first time since last week and got an error about the module for my kernel not being installed. At first I thought something randomly broke but upon further inspection I realized this was because I recently updated to kernel 2.16.24-17. I edited my /boot/menu.lst to boot by default to the previous kernel and everything is back to good now. This was my own fault for having proposed repositories enabled. I kinda just passively agree to whatever updates Ubuntu proposes and didn't realize at first I had accepted a kernel update. So, consider yourself advised if you find yourself in the same situation.
